Light Lately

I finally got around to taking a picture of the light lately. Of course, pictures are always pictures of light, but outside lately has looked like early morning and I wanted to share that.

It’s getting colder pretty quickly; looking at our local intranet, the current temperature is just a bit below -60C/-77F. When I popped out to get this picture, I didn’t bother putting on long underwear or insulated pants, and my legs hurt by the time I got back to the door just a couple minutes later. Eyelashes had little balls of frost already, and the soles of my shoes were frozen so hard that they slid nearly tractionless for the first steps on our plastic diamond plate flooring.

So weird that the only one that’s limp is the US. Or is it?

Maximum! Ridiculous Weird! That flag is not weird; it’s made from better, or at least heavier, material than the other flags.
